Hey everyone, I had been super busy with my boring schedule and my Christmas feeling was almost dying unlike every year. But to my surprise, my hubby boo brought me a good size Christmas tree yesterday to bring back my enthusiasm, may be ๐. He knows me well I must say. I jumped with joy because I get to decorate a Christmas tree all by myself for the very first time.
To give a snowy touch, to complete my Christmas decor, I made a little snow land area ๐ญ and made 2 very cute snow man sitting on them.
Aren’t they just super cute?
To make one yours, you just need 5 minutes of your time and a little creativity โบ๏ธ Let’s start ๐
Materials required
- A pair of white socks
- Rice
- Rubber band
- Red ribbon
- Scissors
- Ear studs, buttons
Take a white sock and cut the top portion.
Then cut the sock into half with two open ends.
Using a rubber band, secure and tie one end.
Turn the sock inside out like this ๐
Now fill it with rice completely.
Tie and secure the other end with a rubber band.
Now, using your fingers assume the space for making the neck and tie a rubber band.
Your base model is ready. Now take another piece of the same sock and tie one end with rubber band to make the cap.
Your cap is ready to be worn by the little snowman.
Take the red ribbon and tie on the cap and make muffler at the neck.
Now take your ear studs and stuck them to make eyes, mouth and buttons โบ๏ธ
Tadaaa. Your very own super cute snowman is ready.
The mini Christmas tree is made with just paper. Let me know if you want to learn making one. ๐
That’s my recliner before I set the snow land ๐
And finally when I was done decorating my tree I made a cute snow land for these Lil bees. My husband is calling them ‘Santa-banta’ (very famous Indian characters used for jokes) ๐
Glimpses from my Christmas decor.
Do try making this easy-peasy craft at your home. Kids would love making them, I am sure.
